JRE LAN10G-USB 3-1 overview
High-speed DUTs that need both 10GBASE-T Ethernet and SuperSpeed USB can keep the two links together in one housing. We recommend the JRE LAN10G-USB 3-1 when independent, fully passive paths and efficient plate use both matter.
- 10GBASE-T RJ-45 path plus USB 3 Type-A path in one machined-aluminum housing
- Differential data passes while common-mode RF interference is filtered out on both sections
- Ethernet supports 10GBASE-T, 5GBASE-T, and 2.5GBASE-T with PoE pass-through
- USB supports USB 1.1, 2.0, and 3.0 SuperSpeed data
- 80 dB conducted attenuation from 50 MHz to over 6 GHz
- Equivalent cable length of roughly 1-1.5 m for USB and 2 m for Ethernet
- USB Type-A and RJ-45 1 meter M-M jumper cables included
- 3.2" H x 3.2" W x 0.8" D (80 x 80 x 20 mm); $995.00
Both connector types and both speed tiers need to match the bench. The Ethernet side is copper twisted-pair only, not 10GBASE-R, SFP+, or fiber-based 10G. For the fastest USB rates over longer external runs, I use an active cable to restore margin while the wall interface stays passive.
Which USB filter do I need? The USB 2-1 is a low-pass filter, the right pick at USB 2.0 speeds. The USB 3-1 uses signal phasing for USB 3 SuperSpeed. The USB C-1 puts that same architecture on a USB-C connector. This LAN10G-USB 3-1 pairs a SuperSpeed USB path with 10GBASE-T Ethernet.
