JRE 2220A overview
Repeatedly cycling a large DUT through the chamber makes loading motion part of the test workflow. The JRE 2220A gives the operator a short path into the chamber, with top access that avoids reaching through a raised doorway. Gas struts assist the clamshell lid and hold it in place.
- Interior: 13" H x 20.5" W x 18.5" D (330 x 520 x 470 mm) for larger connected devices.
- Outside: 14.5" H x 22" W x 20" D (370 x 560 x 510 mm) on the bench.
- Isolation: −100 dB DC to 1 GHz; −95 dB to 3 GHz; −85 dB to 6 GHz.
- Two field-changeable C-size plates: 7" x 7" (180 x 180 mm) for substantial I/O capacity.
- Piano-style hinge and single-handle closure for aligned, fast lid operation.
- Two honeycomb vents with optional fans for additional cooling.
- Optional MW upgrade extends isolation to > 85 dB through 28 GHz.
The 2220A is in stock at $3,095.00 and ships without RF connectors or interface filters. I recommend it when the clamshell loading motion and larger interior earn their place on the bench. When the same top-opening workflow fits a smaller DUT, the JRE 1522 keeps that format in a more compact enclosure.
