Two Chambers, One Rack

Containing all the capability of our larger JRE enclosures, the rack-mounted JRE 0814-2R is ideal for testing devices with a tall form factor. Two independent JRE 0814-series enclosures are mounted in one 19" rack — each with its own door, its own I/O plate, and its own sealed RF environment. That makes it a natural fit for link and over-the-air testing where you want a transmitter in one chamber and a receiver in the other, or simply for doubling your throughput by testing two units at once. For over-the-air WiFi and Bluetooth work, pair it with one of our test antennas such as the ANT-245 (2.4 and 5–6 GHz). If you only need a single chamber, the standalone JRE 0814 is the same enclosure on its own.

Two shielded honeycomb vents per enclosure provide excellent cooling, and optional fan(s) are available for those hot-running products. These tough honeycomb vents maintain shielding effectiveness throughout the frequency range. Featuring rugged welded aluminum construction, you can be assured of its tight RF shielding effectiveness. Long-life door gasket material along with our double-edge contact engagement provides solid RF shielding and smooth, trouble-free operation over the life of the chamber. Inside, LS-30 RF absorbing foam tames reflections and hot-spots so your measurements stay clean and repeatable.

The Removable I/O Plate — Your Chamber Never Becomes Obsolete

Every JRE chamber uses a removable, CNC-machined I/O plate — a design JRE engineers originated over forty years ago. The C-size plate recesses into the chamber wall and does not intrude into your test volume. Because it swaps out in the field with a few screws, each enclosure in the 0814-2R can be reconfigured for many different test setups over its life. Our wide selection of filtered I/O interfaces — USB, Ethernet, power, HDMI and more — lets almost any device be connected inside while keeping the RF environment sealed up tight.
